Client Portfolio Manager Fixed Income

Who we are looking for

Within Investments, the Client Portfolio Managers (CPM) Fixed Income team is primarily responsible for explaining and presenting Robeco's fixed income strategies to both internal and external clients. The team is actively involved during every stage of the commercial process, for both wholesale and institutional clients globally. Currently, the CPM Fixed Income team consists of five Client Portfolio Managers and two Investment specialists.

Your responsibility is to provide detailed insights into Robeco's fixed income investment strategies in the sales and retention process. Together with Sales you are responsible for presentations to existing and potential clients or distribution partners. Sustainability is embedded in our investment DNA and you will be in the unique position to deliver our sustainable IP to our clients. In addition you provide relevant written product-and market commentaries on the capabilities you cover. You use your outstanding specialist knowledge to convince clients to choose for Robeco's solutions. Your focus area will be the strategies managed by Robeco’s fixed income credit team, such as Euro Credit Bonds, Financial Institutions Bonds and other (new) sustainable funds. Close cooperation with the Portfolio Management team is essential. We are currently looking for a Client Portfolio Manager that will be stationed in Rotterdam. Traveling is an important part of this position

Requirements

You have a uni­ver­si­ty degree, prefer­ably in an eco­nom­ic dis­ci­pline, and at least five years rel­e­vant work­ing expe­ri­ence in the finan­cial ser­vice indus­try. Expe­ri­ence in and a sol­id knowl­edge of fun­da­men­tal fixed income invest­ing is required. Prefer­ably you have worked as a strate­gist, fund selec­tor or (client) port­fo­lio man­ag­er-/an­a­lyst (or sim­i­lar role) in a com­mer­cial asset man­age­ment com­pa­ny or pen­sion fund. It is essen­tial to have com­mer­cial dri­ve, deep invest­ment exper­tise and to be able to present your spe­cial­ist knowl­edge in a con­vinc­ing way, as an author­i­ty in your area of exper­tise. Affin­i­ty with sus­tain­abil­i­ty is key. It goes with­out say­ing that you have an excel­lent com­mand of Eng­lish. Good com­mand of a sec­ond lan­guage is a plus.
